Hello My Name Is...

My name is Rebecca Summerlin; I am one of Carson's Mild/Moderate Education Specialists.  I started working at Carson Elementary in Fall 2021. 

Our Special Education Department services students with disabilities throughout the school.  We have an incredible team of Ed Specialists, Related Service Providers, and Paraeducators.  I am grateful to be part of this community!  If you have any questions about your child's IEP or educational progress, you can contact me at [email protected]

About me:

I received my Bachelor’s Degree, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Teaching Credential from Point Loma Nazarene University.  I have worked in SDUSD since 2019 in UTK-12th grade.
